Sunny
Total Time = 6h 30m
Overall Rank = 307/816
Age Group = Men 50 - 59
Age Group Rank = 18/41
Pre-race routine:

Drove down with buddies and hung around the start area. They ran the 30K so started at 5:30. I watched them start and then chatted with my group until the race start time.
Event warmup:

Wandering the venue site.
Run
  • 1h 28m 27s
  • 15 kms
  • 05m 54s  min/km
Comments:

Good run, took off nice and easy and then constant pace for the first 12K. Then picked up the pace on the last 3k, felt pretty good.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little more during the complete run.
Post race
Warm down:

Wandered the venue some more and then changed and left for home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing really, just thinking about 12K run in the morning and not wanting to blow the legs for it too.

Event comments:

Good race, nice to see some of my group finish their first race and others get a PB, including myself getting a PB a this distance.
