ate entir power bar on the bike. took hammer gel as ride began.

crampped the entire run....took off right before the finish line to gain speed and advance runners
What would you do differently?:

rinse feet beter. got blisters not sure if it was from the lack of socks or not rinsing clean of sand from swim

cramps druing the run

Event comments:

This race didn't offer many perks. Roads were blocked off well for bike ride. Not a lot of instruction before the race as to where to go once swim was finished and didn't really know where to start the run either. No orientation before the race.
