Swim
Comments: had not swam any distance since last year cranberry ( and hardly any that year) so just see how it went. actually not nervous or worried at all. just hopped in near end of group and swam. felt great throughout. nice rythm, good breathing, no issues. nice constant pace for me. What would you do differently?: well, like to say swim more but that apparently hasent made a difference in time. actually this years time is one of the best Transition 1
Comments: ran thru lanes, whipped off suit pretty good. pretty organized. better than previous years, felt lots better than previous years Bike
Comments: felt strong on bike, stayed on big gear whole ride. got coaught drafting according to refs, reall not. i was in front of group of 10 riders, didnt know they were behind me, they passed me stayed only a bit in front of me, i tried slowing so could be more than 3 bike lengths, guess its not enough. oh well. big deal What would you do differently?: I'm good with 20 mph Transition 2
Comments: smooth transition. a bit slow due to tying shoes. overall good, ran with bike, no walking Run
Comments: got in a smooth pace right off. couple brief breaks, other than that I'm good with 9 m/m off the bike. Post race
Warm down: walk around, watermellon, fluids. not as hot as previous years which was great. overall had a great race. Event comments: great race set up and course. super to have a BT gathering after. enjoyed meeting new folks and catching up with the usual crowd as well. 6 cranberry's down many more to go!!
