Comments: My knee was hurting, and that with weight gain, and poor preparation, my plan was to do 4, but at the bridge, I thought, was the heck. I feel that I can run/walk it, and it will tell me if I'm ready for Parks in 2 weeks. Post race
Warm down: Had some food, beer, and enjoyed the band. Went to Pusser's for brunch and pain killers. What limited your ability to perform faster: Weight, lack of training. Event comments: Good race on a challenginf course with the neighborhood hills, the bridge, uphill finish at the stadium, as well as Annapolis heat and humidity in August. After my very successful first Olympic Triathlon in Spetember 2009, go on an eating and beer free-for-all, and have it affect the ability to so any serious training. Even though I was involved in the Speed and Development, and half marathon program, ever increasing weigh gain that I had lost took its toll on ability to run.
