Swim
Comments: I thought I was swimming slower as Inever lost my breath. I started at the very end and ended passing 70 so swimmers. My best swim so far. What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 1
Comments: Remained calm, could've gone a bit faster but didn0t want to raise HR. SoI think it was a pretty good transition. The dstance from the water to the bike was crazy 500 mts or so. Bike
Comments: Next time will try to draft more. It was permitted but I didn't take advantage of it. What would you do differently?: Draft. I sould've shed a couple of mintes. Train harder. Transition 2
Comments: I was afraid my knee wasn't going to hold up to the race so in an attempt to easy it out I walked 1/3 of the transition zone which was brutally long. Lost a lot of time there. What would you do differently?: Speed up. Run
Comments: I was afraid my knee wouldn't hold up. So I started really slow, it started hurting so I walked through the first refreshment and ate my power bar gel slowly. I started jogging and when the pain dissapeared I reved up as much as I could. I was even expecting to run past the 30 min mark so I think I did better than expected. What would you do differently?: If my knee is ok, just run normally and would help a lot. Post race
Warm down: walked with the kids around. Event comments: Fantastic race. Much better organized than the big Foot tri in wisconsin. Enjoyed it a lot. Last updated: 2009-08-31 12:00 AM

Walked a couple of miles from the hotel to Transition, was a great warmup.
walked for 20 minutes. Jumped into the water to feel the temperature, just 5 minutes. Stretched and that's it.
