Swim
  • 8h 49m
  • 400 yards
  • 2h 12m 15s / 100 yards
Comments:

The course was all right turns, but I naturally drift to the left. Time for me to get serious about bi-lateral breathing
Transition 1
  • 01m 42s
Comments:

This was a good transition, went shirtless again.
What would you do differently?:

nothing
Bike
  • 51m 28s
  • 15 miles
  • 17.49 mile/hr
Comments:

This was a good ride for me. I attacked the bridges. At the last bridge I was feeling it pretty good, but I raced just like I wanted to.
What would you do differently?:

perhaps cool it a bit, it took a little too much out of me.
Transition 2
  • 01m 4s
Comments:

This was a good trans. Grabbed the hat and belt and took off. A shirt might have come in handy. Glad there was shade on the course
Run
  • 34m 42s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 11m 11s  min/mile
Comments:

I had good hydration from the bike leg. after my legs warmed up, the outside of my knee (the 'good' knee) started to hurt. It got worse as I sent. I knew I needed a stretch, but not one that I could do wihtout laying on the ground, so I just resolved to finish without stopping. Knee was quite sore later in the day.
What would you do differently?:

be a better runner? A little disappointed in the run, but I pushed pretty hard on the bike and knew I would have a little run trouble. Just need to train more I guess.
Post race
Warm down:

Food and hanging out, then a nice walk back the start.

Event comments:

They need oganizational help. The transition area was pretty wide open, they need to close it down, I could have left with a few bikes. Mandatory body markings and chips should be required to enter and both entry and exits should be monitored. The bike in traffic was pretty dangerous I thought. Not a race for trying again, liked the town, but the biking and traffic seemed like a bad combo.
