Comments: I was relaxed during the swim and did the breastroke for a short time about halfway through. What would you do differently?: I just need more time to develop proper technique. I know my legs drag. Transition 1
Comments: 1st time in transition so I was a bit disoriented coming out of the water What would you do differently?: Put powder in my socks or perhaps bike without socks and put them on before the run. Bike
Comments: I didn't expect the amount of hills that I encountered. Spent 2-3 minutes trying to figure out why the bike was dragging. Suspected a flat, then chain. I think maybe it was a gear issue. About 20 people passed which was discouraging. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Nice easy pace. I usually run 8:45 pace or so for 3 miles. What would you do differently?: I still had a lot of energy at the end so perhaps I didnt push hard enough. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I have been training for a little more than 2 months for triathlons. My swimming technique is really bad, not wanting to run out of energy perhaps cause some time issues.
