Pre-race routine:

woke up 4:30 AM. Ate oatmeal and a piece of wheat toast. Left at 5:30 AM for WSMR. Stopped for gas and a cup of coffee. Arrived at WSMR at 0630. PIcked up packet and prepared for race start at 8:00 AM. Had a GU at 7:40, 20 min before start.

Event comments:

This was my first tri. It was backwards, but I really wanted to use this as an evaluation for the upcoming Elephant Man at Elephant Butte, NM at the end of this month. I felt good throughout the race. Cardio was great, definately need to improve muscular endurance for the bike.
