Comments: Slower pace that I've been running lately However, no calf cramping after getting off bike :) Better than Treadman pace Used a 20/20 slower/faster strategy for last mile What would you do differently?: Should have picked the pace up sooner Used an "intervals" strategy sooner Need to try going with runners as they pass by More mental toughness Post race
Warm down: Drank rest of Gatorade and water from bike Walked to pavilion Ate 1/2 of a banana What limited your ability to perform faster: Wipe-out w/ bike Mental toughness on last run Need to figure out how to pace last run better Event comments: Well-organized, fun race Flat course - good for run Bike - wish it was more miles Transition area and state trail a little narrow for # of participants Overall, fun race Hope to be back next year!
