I was dressed as the Marvel superhero Iron Fist.
What would you do differently?:

I'll wear a different costume next year.
Post race
Warm down:

sat down with family instead of warming down with race leaders - priorities.
i did go and do half a mile after half an hour.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The costume's sash, mask and collar hindered performance. I also did not feel 100%.

Event comments:

This is the 31st running of this event and the 5th time I have done it. It is a nice suburb race. Only a handful of people do it in costume.

Course: mostly flat - one decent hill, paved. some wet leaves ont eh ground reducing traction
