Comments: Smaller rectangle than yesterday, so buoys were closer. Learned to adjust for the current yesterday so had less trouble with it. Interestingly, when I stood up in about 18 inches of water the currest was running hard to opposite way than we swam Transition 1
Comments: Everything went bad. The long run from swim was really slow given my leg stiffness and the wetsuit struggle was the over the top. What would you do differently?: everything Bike
Comments: This leg wasn't about discipline and pacing. This was my promised reward for the discipline and pacing in yesterday's HIM. Get on the bike and giver everything I got left. Unfortunately everything I got left wouldn't get me above mid zone 4. It's all my legs had left to give. I passed, well, everybody Transition 2

Comments: Had no idea if after taking one step I'd fall flat on my face and just stay there unable to move. But it turned out ok. Not my best 5k performance but it got me to the finish line. What would you do differently?: Today it was about the bike. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Maybe the HIM yesterday? Event comments: This race really attracts many novices with an Oly going off an hour later. So my rankings need to be put in that light (ie. 5th overall bike split) Last updated: 2009-09-09 12:00 AM

Soooo Stiff from yesterday
Went out for a barely moving very painful eight minute jog. Could feel hamstrings just starting to loosen up. No time for anything else. Just got my wetsuit on in time.
