got there really early so i had tons of time to setup

had a clif shot and tested the water. it was too cold to warmup in

i did freestyle the 1st stretch, breast stroke the 2nd stretch, and freestyle the 3rd stretch. i didnt kick during freestyle, it helps me maintain composure. once again im surprised how well i did

What would you do differently?:

my shoes got really wet and heavy, apparently my soles are sponges, i need to replace them

Event comments:

the run was changed, tho im glad i didnt have to run on gravel. the transition exits were well marked, but the entrances werent marked at all

great food afterwards, and glad we were able to get into the transition before the race was over
