The current kept pulling me away from shore. Swimming into sun made it hard to see the second bouye
What would you do differently?:

I don't know. I swam very hard, good form, but maybe it was a strong field. I remember being out of breath leaving water

I ran wearing shoes because I am not comfortable yet putting shoes on while biking. Too slow

Nothing. I was fast in T-1. Transition time was not seperated out

I could have run faster. I think I was pacing with a lot of slow people and was worried about going too fast. I passed about 10 people on the run and was passed by the guy who finished 4th in my age group. He was flying when he passed at 2mile mark
What would you do differently?:

get a gps watch and therefore be in better control of my pace

myself. Huge improvement over last years 162 place finish. Keep working at it til I win!
