Stood around and then made way to the start line and got in just before the start.

Comments:

Good run to start, very crowded, especially at the start and end, but still busy during the run. Good support from crowds too and lots of water stations.
What would you do differently?:

Not sure how you would prevent achilles issues.
Post race
Warm down:

Stood around and waited for group. Took pictures and then drove home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Achilles issues on the right side.

Event comments:

Good race. Since this was the goal race for the clinic I was teaching, it was important to get everyone through and finished. Everyone made their goals so I am a happy camper.

Performance: Below average
Course: Out and back. Essentially pretty flat, but some slight inclines. Start with Liz and Brian and then dropped Brian around 4 or 5K. Continued with Liz until about 14K where I dropped back due to right achilles stress. Took it easy going back in. Splits were 10K 57:21.
