Comments:

Great run a PB for me based on my min/mile is now under 10 and min/km is 6 which is great as I have never ran that fast in my life. Seeded myself too slow as I was passing runners left right and centre as I started then I got into a good pace felt 10/mileish and it was nice and steady fearing rains but the rain gods held off for this run which is good. Made a mad dash at the finish as I passed a few people in the finish chute including dogs and babys. There were rabbits and basketball playing elvis running this as well.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster as I get into better shape.
Post race
Warm down:

walked it off as that final sprint really winded me almost broke a 6 min km with that sprint they just ran out of power bars as I came in and coffee too.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Being fat and out of shape.

Event comments:

A good race and nice course for a run good sized contigent of runners about a thousand wouldn't want any more but this amount was cool. Some of the winners took off before they got their awards about 45 min after they came in(15 min after me).
