Comments:

I came down with a cold last week and was also told that I had slightly anemic. I was just really tired all week leading up to the race so I wasn't expecting a whole lot.

Plan was to just take it easy the first half of the race and then see what I had left in the tank for the last 5. I felt really good through the whole race and able to push it the last 3 miles.

I really enjoy this course. I definitely want to do the full marathon some year. Maybe 2011.

What would you do differently?:

Nothing. I improved my time from last by 4 minutes so I'm happy.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked through the buffet line of food. Grabbed pretty much everything - felt like I needed a shopping cart!

Waited for Julie to finish. We had talked about staying and cheering on the marathoners but her leg was really giving her problems so we headed home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Wasn't feeling the best leading up to the race.

Event comments:

Great race!!
