My first race (of any kind) ever! Pretty happy with myself for finishing. Prior to this race, I had never ridden more than 25 miles at a time. Also, I'd only had my road bike for 2 weeks. So, I'd call this a success. :)

Course: Never once had to walk my bike on the hills (I consider this quite an accomplishment, based on the number of people huffing it up the mountain by foot)! Although I realize that I have a serious and frustrating phobia of going downhill fast. This makes me crazy, but I'm not sure it's going to go away any time soon. Grr.
