Swim
Comments: Shoulda and coulda went harder off the beginning and picked a better start spot What would you do differently?: Pick a better starting spot Transition 1
Bike
Comments: I loved this bike ride... since i didn't go hard enough on the swim, i felt awesome for this ride. The turnaround came really quickly, and i knew i wasnt going hard enough, so i picked it up at the halfway mark. proll 33km/h first 10k and 38-40km/h the final 10k What would you do differently?: Go harder in the first 10k Transition 2
Run
Comments: My breathing was spiked the entire time and limited my ability to run harder, my legs actually felt good. If i had trained this segment more i would have had a much better race. What would you do differently?: Run more throughout training, and work on proper breathing techniques Post race
Warm down: Almost puked at the finish line becuase the last 1000m i gave it my all, and my breathing rate couldn't handle that! aahah What limited your ability to perform faster: Lungs and lack of run trainin and swim technique Event comments: Awesome venue... great atmosphere, organization, people, and volunteers. And to top it all off it was beautiful weather, and i got to go watch the Sunday race the next morning. Last updated: 2009-09-29 12:00 AM

Age Group Rank = 1/7
Got up early and drove to the race site about 30-40k away at Lakeside resort.
Had raisin bran and 2-3 bananas for breaky.
It was still cold out from the overnight chill. So i went for a short bike ride with the wind then a longer run then normal with some stretching then met a couple BT'ers beleive it or not and got my transition area ready and wetsuit on for a nice swim warm-up, shoulda warmed up a little longer then i did.
