Comments:

warm water, no wet suit, no worry. Almost 4 minutes slower than last year. Was that due to no wetsuit or just slow. Felt like a good swim.

Swim harder.

Learn to ride without socks and shoes clipped in.

Tried take keep 250 watts and below 20 mph to have something for run. Usually push too hard on bike and nothing for run.

9 minutes slower than 2009. Should have gone faster.

First 3.1 miles under shade, last 3.1 rolling hills and hot sun. Not enough wet towels until mile 4.5. Brutal hot.

Event comments:

GCI puts on good race. This year sprint on Saturday, OLY on Sunday since last year too hot by time OLY started. Brutal heat this year had same consequences. Maybe more wet towels, was really looking forward to them.
