Swim
Comments: Happy with swim, read above. What would you do differently?: other then getting faster, ....nothing, hapy with swim overall. Transition 1
Comments: Quick slip on of the shoes, then off. Nice being in the first wave. not much traffic heading out of T1. What would you do differently?: nada. Bike
Comments: Push HR the whole time on the ride. Felt good but challenged on the bridges. other then that, overall good. What would you do differently?: nada Transition 2
Comments: Once again, LOVE riding with running shoes on short course sprint. T@ is lighting fast. Rack bike, drop helmet and im off. What would you do differently?: nada Run
Comments: Really felt it about mile 2. Faded to the finish, arrrr. lack of speed work all summer showed. What would you do differently?: MORE speed work and work on run during the winter. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, talked to a few guys in my AG and new friends. Waited on wife to finish. Great snacks, bags of sliced apples, HOT sweet Potatos from Outback!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Fading in the humidity on the run and training LONG all summer for Augusta 70.3 showed in my lack of speed on the run. Event comments: Great job once again by Jim Rainey and the Georgia Multi-Sports Team. Great first year event and a great venue!! A MUST return for 2010. Last updated: 2009-10-11 12:00 AM
