Pre-race routine:

woke up at 6:15, had a hotel room in seaside park. took a shower to wake up then had a 1/2 cup of coffee, 4 oz of yogurt, and about 4 oz mango juice. Arrived at race about 7:40 a.m. only to wait on line for about a half hour. I then realized i didn't need to wait on line b/c i picked up my race packet the day before but they had nobody to tell me to go straight to the body mark line. very annoying.

a little slower than normal. Had right hip cramp and left knee soarness. only stopped to loosen shoe laces and to wait for my brother, about ten seconds. finished the last mile and half with John then pulled away with about a 1/4 mile to go.
What would you do differently?:

stretch more before race
