Swim
Comments: I was really out to just have a good race and race my race. I actually lost 11 seconds in the pool/run to transition compared to last year, but really, that isn't bad for me all things considered. The only way to get better... IS TO SWIM. What would you do differently?: train more. ONly thing I would do differently Transition 1
Comments: Best transition ever, despite the time. I was a little light-headed coming out of the pool, so fortunately, i had my 5-gallon bucket this time. Sat on it, cleaned my feet, cycling shoes on and up and away. It really was a good transition, aside from the loopy feeling in the head. What would you do differently?: More transition practice and not getting loopy coming out of the pool Bike
Comments: Can't say enough about what my training base gave me going into this race. I haven't trained anything but the bike all summer and set a course PR. SWEET!!! What would you do differently?: NOTHING!!! Transition 2
Comments: took my time in transition and it paid off for me in the long run. My legs felt awesome. What would you do differently?: Not much Run
Comments: Due to the torn patellar tendon, I was unable to run more than 3 minutes, but my fitness is so much better than last year. Even with a rolling of the ankle, I still set an awesome time. What would you do differently?: Train the run next year in combo with the bike. Post race
Warm down: not much warm down, other than walking around. What limited your ability to perform faster: Torn patellar tendon in the knee, and lack of training in two of the three disciplines. Event comments: I love this race... It's the second time I have done it and loved it. Set a PB on this course overall and on the bike. I couldn't ask for anything more. I am making progress in tri's and I love it. WOOO!!! Last updated: 2009-10-11 12:00 AM

Got up early, showered and shaved, van was loaded last night. Got dressed and headed out the door. Arrived at site at 6:20 am for 8 am start.
Lots of stretching and trips to the port-a-potty. I didn't think I was nervous, but my bladder and intestines let me know otherwise.
