Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 3:00am. Forced myself to sleep alittle bit longer so at 4:40am I went ahead and got up. I had already got my cloths ready so all I had to do was to load my bike into the truck, stop by the gas station and grab a blueberry poptart. Robin had came down and went with me to the event. Madison was at home sick with the flu.
Event warmup:

Got to the event at 7:30am and picked up my packet, used the restroom and set up my transition. After setting up the transition, headed to the swim area to take a look. Didn't warmup at all which was a bad mistake because I pulled my calve muscle running to the transition area after the swim.

Major issues here. My calve was killimg me so I took my time to sit down and remove my wetsuit. Suit stuck on both heels. After I got the suit off, I could barely run with the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Have my wetsuit pulled down to my waist. Bring the PAM.

Pulled calve muscle. Still leaving some out on the course.

Event comments:

This was the worst race that I competed in this year. Not enough room for everyone on the dock, steep hill from the swim area to the transition area, traffic moving in and out during the bike and run seqments, no one was at the run turn-around, crappy awards.
