Pre-race routine:

ate a toast with peanut butter and jelly and milk, streached, went to race site... warm up was verry stressed before the race

ran on the campus to stay away from the crowd

Comments:

ran with Michel Babineau, Johnny Grant and Michel Frenette up until the 26th km... Pierre Laforest passed me around km33 and i couldnt keep up with him... was a hard race but a experience as a first MARATHON
What would you do differently?:

Got to figure out what to do for those dammm cramps!!!!

Warm down:

hang around with family, walk alot as for legs were cramping pretty bad

What limited your ability to perform faster:

TRAINNING and Cramping

Event comments:

even though it was pouring rain for the first 10-12km and verry high winds, voulunteers were out there cheering us on was impressed!!!

first 26km was right on pace then started to slow down and started cramping at 30km... had severe cramps in quads and calf muscles for the last 4km had to walk/run
Course: pretty flat throught moncton, riverview and dieppe start was at U de M
