Comments: This was my best thus far. I really worked on my breathing and my pace two months before race. Very pleased with the outcome. What would you do differently?: Train more and try to improve on my time. Transition 1
Comments: Had some trouble getting my shirt on over my wet body. What would you do differently?: Should consider swimming in a tri shirt or towell dry off a bit. Also look into getting some tri shoes and putting them on the bike to save time in T1. Bike
Comments: Need to get tri shoes since my feet start to hurt in my MT Bike shoes. Need to look at other options to get better hydration on the bike for my longer races. What would you do differently?: Pedal faster... LOL Transition 2
Comments: Went well. But I lost time taking my bike shoe off and putting on my running shoes. Plus putting on my bib number as well What would you do differently?: Put my bib number on my shirt before the ride. Run
Comments: Liked running without fuel belt. I think that helped me a lot and also my T2 time. What would you do differently?: Train more. Going to run a half marathon in Dec so I will then start strength training for next year. Post race
Warm down: Stretch. Event comments: I did not know that we were going to get a finishing medal. That was a surprise. This was my second Tri and I placed second in my clydsdale division. Got up at 5:00am and left The Colony at 5:30. Ate some shredded weat cereal and started my hydration.
Swam 200M and stretched a bit before race.
