Comments: Good position for the start. Tried drafting but the water was to murky to really catch on with anyone What would you do differently?: Not much that could be improved upon. Transition 1
Comments: Very crowded at the bike mount area. Someone shifted me into my biggest gears so the getting going was kind of challenging. What would you do differently?: Make sure bike is in low (easy) gear before leaving transition Bike
Comments: drank my 1 liter of water and refilled and drank it 4 times on the course. Overall course was very crowded with lots of passing throughout. What would you do differently?: pack and eat more nutrition. Felt weak towards the end of the run and felt like i could have eaten more on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: Clean T2. What would you do differently?: nothing really. Took some time to get socks/shoes on b/c of laces. Run
Comments: Hot run on paved surface. started overheating towards the end. got pretty tired on the uphills towards the second half of the run. What would you do differently?: take more of the electratabs at the end of the bike and start of the run. Post race
Warm down: he he he. yeah right. What limited your ability to perform faster: overall training and nutrition. Could have pushed the bike harder but would have suffered on the run. overall i think i went as fast as possible based on my current weight and level of training. Event comments: Overall it was a great race. Volunteers were plentiful and helpful with great attitudes. Aid stations were very plentiful. Well marked course. Very organized and efficient.
