Comments: Goal was sub 2hr. Was on pace through 10 miles, then legs went byebye. Needed to pull three 9s to finish under 2hrs, instead pulled three 11s. Set a PR anyway by nearly 10 min, so not a big disappointment. Also happy to finish a whole 15 min before the Marathon winner came through! What would you do differently?: Train more. Finish last 2 or 3 miles of long runs at a slightly faster pace. Post race
Warm down: Walk, eat, stretch. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training myself to finish strong. Event comments: 2nd year for this one. Continued good weather might help it grow.
