Pre-race routine:

Woke up and ate some breakfast, can't remember what. Loaded the family and we all did the 5k!
Event warmup:

Just a short run and got the kids situated and a meet up plan after wards.

Comments:

Good run on mostly marathon training. I did get in a few speed sessions but not enough. ALso the drive the day before sapped my legs. ANyway, started out hard and tried to hold on. Mostly high schoolers from the area cross country teams beat me today. I was the fastest master by over a full minute. My wife won her agegroup as well so it was good day.

Great race at no altitude. Pies were the awards so the Dills family brought home 2 of them. Annual tradition!
