ate a bagel and had some Gatoraid.

Lack of swim training bit me here, but not too bad... Still did respectfully, but not quite what I would have liked. Took it very easy.
What would you do differently?:

Next time I'll train a bit more for the swim and push it a little more.

Was running through T1 at my normal pace when I remembered I had 6 hours left and started walking, slowed my heart rate and just made sure I did thing efficiently. Also took a pee break.

Rocketed the first "downhill" half. 18.3 mph. Second half I paid for it, but it was still a solid bike split for me.

Even out the pace, save a little more for coming back.

Did OK. Kept a decent pace, but to make sure I finished I followed the strategy of walking through every aid station, where were at about every mile. This worked well... Also had to take a dump at mile 5, which was glorious.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I need more time to run and bike more. My lungs were great, my legs were my weakness.

Event comments:

Enjoyed it, didn't partake in the pre/post race festivities, but everything else was great.
