Run
Comments: My chief goal for this race was to work on pacing and maintaining my form. Ran a comfortable and easy race and in the end saw that I could maybe PR so I charged down the last 1.1 mile, reaching an 8.1 min/mile. Missed the PR by 30 seconds but it hardly mattered as I never imagined that by keeping a solid pace I was able to run so hard and easily at the end. I learned a lot! And most important no injuries this time! What would you do differently?: Nothing really I had a GREAT race and accomplished everything I set out to do. Post race
Warm down: A bit of stretching and some walking around, a cold water bath when I got home. What limited your ability to perform faster: I suppose if I was ten years younger... Event comments: Some additional bathrooms at the start would have been good, but there were lots of woods around and that works fine for me. Last updated: 2009-11-20 12:00 AM

Got up at 4:30 Am, had some tea and oatmeal. On the road by 5:30, the drive was 90 minutes.
Not much really, met my friend Ginny at registration and did a bit of a job back and forth to the truck.
