Comments: I could have drank more. I carried my water bottle with Nuun with me but didn't finish the 16 ounces by the end of race. Took 2 cups of Gatorade at the water stops. What would you do differently?: Drink more water pre-race. Post race
Warm down: Walked around after my finish and cheered on remainder of my running group. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just received medical clearance last week to start running again. Took it nice and slow to make sure I finished comfortably this time. Event comments: Great race. Plenty of post-race food. Grabbed a smoothie after the race but didn't take any of the food. Race was well organized and only started a couple of minutes late so nothing major. Came in at a better time than I expected considering I haven't been able to run since early October! Had a bagel breakfast sandwich and coffee. Caught a ride with friends from my running group and got to the site with plenty of time.
