Swim
Comments: Course was nice and flat. However, the swim was more like 1.2 miles than 1.5K (.94 miles) What would you do differently?: Ask the RD to measure the bouys again. Transition 1
Comments: There was a short run on soft ground from the swim to T1. I stashed my shoes near the swim exit and put them on before running into T1. What would you do differently?: Nada Bike
Comments: The bike course was better than I originally thought. I did not like the idea of the bike path. I thought I would not be able to maintain a good fast pace. I was wrong. Besides the 'No Passing' portion of the course and the low turn out, the course was fast. I felt good on the bike and slowly pushed to a comfortable pace. What would you do differently?: Nada. Transition 2
Comments: Smooth and efficient. Run
Comments: I felt great coming off the bike. I took it easy for the first mile to see how I would respond. The weather was great and I decided to push the pace. My run splits were a surprise to me. It must have been the colder weather. What would you do differently?: Run mile 6 a little faster ;) Post race
Warm down: Eat and Drink Event comments: Small cozy race. Lots of volunteer help and well supported. Last updated: 2005-10-17 12:00 AM

Loaded up gear and stuff with my bud Bill around 5:00 AM. Stopped at for coffee and headed to the race site. Arrived at the race site around 5:45 AM. Got body marked and picked up timing chip.
Rode for 10 minutes before setting up transition.
