Comments: Started out running with a group, felt good through the first mile. Realized my first mile was 6:58 which was to fast. Backed off a little bit and tried to hold a steady a pace. Got a drink of water at the turnaround. 3 miles in my legs started feeling tired and heavy, the lack of training lately started catching up with me. Just tried to hang tough the rest of the way. With about a mile to go Justin got within a few steps of me, he was close enough I could hear the music in his Ipod blasting. Tried to push hard and hold him off. Kicked as much as I could at the end. Crossed the line pretty well gassed out and only a few seconds aheak of Justin. Glad he was right there to push me that last .5 mile. What would you do differently?: Train more. WIth work and new baby, training has really taken a back seat. Post race
Warm down: Stretched, walked around and talked with friends. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training and the cold weather. I tend to run better when its warm. Event comments: Good run before stuffing my face the rest of the day. Last updated: 2009-11-26 12:00 AM

Got home from work about 07:15, grabbed breakfast and shower. Put on my cold weather running stuff and headed out the door.
