Comments: The run went well for me. My goal was to stay under 9:00 miles and tried to stay ahead of that pace. I wore my iPod during the race, which was the first time I have ever raced with it, was kinda nice. It was a cool day starting out, but by mile 2, the rainscold and wet sucks. came, good steady rains and continued the enire race. The temps then started to drop to the low 40s. After mile 7, we headed back to finish line and the rain was hitting us right in the face. I was soaked to the bone, which made it miserable to run in. I can deal with cold, and I can deal with wet, but What would you do differently?: More longer runs in training. I was able to stay under 9 minute miles up until mile 9, then I had touse the reserve time I had built up. Also need to find some rain gear to run in. Overall, my goal was to beat 2 hours, and I was able to achieve that! ![]() Post race
Warm down: Got inside as soon as possible to warm up. I also went and got stretched and just wanted to keep dry for awhile. I was freezing and shivering it was so cold after I stopped running. What limited your ability to perform faster: I got tired after mile 9. Build more endurance. Event comments: Definately a race I will do again. Last updated: 2009-12-02 12:00 AM

Got up early and took a hot shower, got dressed and read paper, stayed loose. Checked the radar several times.
A few short runs, tried to stay dry as best as possible.
