Swim
Comments: The swim was a bit of a disappointment, maybe beccause I have not trained for swimming in 3 weeks. I never realy got into the bi-breathng rithm and that makes me slower. The water was also a bit choppy and in the end very smelly. Hard to breath when it stinks. What would you do differently?: Get into the bilateral breathing. Excercise more before hand. Transition 1
Comments: From transition to getiing on to bike was a very long distance, so that run was far for me. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: The hills got the better of me for alot of people would past me going up, but I did pass some on my way down again. What would you do differently?: Dilute my energade on the bike. My mouth was sticky. Practise more hill riding!! Transition 2
Comments: Had to put on socks over dirty feet. That was not very easy. Run
Comments: The run was nice. I was tired and just kept going. What would you do differently?: Run steady. I run past people then they catch up then I run past them agian. I need to run consistently. Post race
Warm down: Went for a swim in the stinky dam again. Not a hard swim but some activity and cooling the body down. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training? Or possibly my heavy bike ;-) I want a lighter bike! My motivation was also low. Not really felt like participating. Good to finish, but the urge to do it again is getting less. Event comments: The race was well organised, but I must admit their time keeping was not one o the bests. My time was better than my first tri but the race was harder. I don't feel like tri-ing anymore. Last updated: 2005-10-24 12:00 AM

Had meusli for breakfast as always. Luckily my bag was packed the night before. We left at 7:00 and arive there at 7:30. It good thing we were early because the traffic at the event and at the transition area grew horrendous.
I stretched before leaving for the water. Then took a quick dip in the water, not enough for warm up but enough to give me a feel for the water.
