Comments:

I really had not trained for this event, so I am pleased with my time. I just stayed in a pretty constant rhythm. My ankles are really sore, but they did not hurt at all during the run, but soon after they did. My Achilles tendon is sore.
What would you do differently?:

Run a little more, but that wasn't really possible this time do to holiday travel. Overall I am happy with my results.
Post race
Warm down:

Changed clothes, light stretch, and hopped in the car. We had friends watching our daughter (my wife and I both ran in this race), and they could only watch her for a short while this morning so we were in a hurry to pick her up.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Cold air makes it hard for me to breathe. Also, I haven't ran alot.

Event comments:

Good race. Due to the hills and the weather, this is not a crowded race. Very small and nice.

Performance: Good
Course: From the YMCA in Travelers Rest down to Furman University, around campus and then follow swamp rabbit trail back to YMCA. Course was moderately hilly, with alot of sloped surfaces that we had to run on. Mostly it was on roads, and the side of the roads were heavily sloped for drainage purposes. It was less than 30 degrees F at race start and never got above freezing the entire race.
