Pre-race routine:

i would have been fine with finishing last in my age division. i'm just glad i crossed the finish line. happy with the results as a first time 70.3 finisher.

got bored after a mile into swim. low back tight. got kicked twice in the face...first dumb girl busted my top lip and second dumb girl scratched my nose. makes me tough!
bilateral breathing helps so much with sighting.
What would you do differently?:

wish i was faster.

i was soooo tired already. left swim area telling some of the team "that sucked!" told brad at T1 to "shut up" and stop yelling annoying things at me. i am not a nice racer when pushed out of my comfort zone. need to work on that!

uhhhh....i so bad wanted to be done before i ever started.
this run was the HARDEST part of the race. i had to dig deep and give everything i had to make it to the end.
ended up walking thru the last half of the aid stations...i looked forward to the stations to cool off.
L foot hurt...weird pain.
What would you do differently?:

run faster. wish i could have pushed more, but i did what i could. now i know what to expect next time i do a 70.3 race.
