Very hotfor England - hottest day I have ever felt in the UK 30+ felt like Durban!!
What would you do differently?:

Run faster - it is only a sprint - pour more water over head to cool down

lack of experience

Event comments:

hard to count those laps on the bike - use electrical tape strips stuck to your bars.
Transitions are really long - +/- 300m run after the swim to get to bike.
No timing chips & number rubbed off body for marshall to give me a time after swim had to find leg number under wetsuit!!
Not a bad performance for my first race ever!!
