I tried to start upping the pace at mile 8-9, but at that point, I didn't have much more to give. The bottom of my feet were getting really sore at mile 9, so I was worried that I wouldn't make it to the finish before they REALLY hurt, but I was OK. I ran with my camera and took a lot of videos! Full race report and photos: http://iwannagetphysical.blogspot.com/2010/01/winter-carnival-half-... Video I took along the way: http://iwannagetphysical.blogspot.com/2010/01/winter-carnival-half-... What would you do differently?: I bet I'd be faster if I didn't run with my camera.... Post race
Warm down: Ran to my car ASAP and had no chance to officially cool down. I had to get to Ian's 2nd birthday party!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Running with a camera?... ;) Event comments: Plenty of aid stations for me, but being there were only 2, I know some people had hoped for more. Nice race!
