Woke up, ate some cereal and yogurt (which turned out to be not-so-smart), drove to race.

Full out Combatives swim with all the people. Took a wrong turn @ the 300 m bouy and started swimming towards the triangle base bouy. Was corrected by a kyaker. Didn't struggle, but didn't go very fast, either.

Lots of refs on course. With all of the racers it was difficult not to be "drafting". Thought I got busted at one point. Smooth, good ride. Got pretty hot towards the end.

This was a tough run. I pushed hard at the beginning and was racing with Berger. Couldn't maintain for the last 1/2 mile and tailed off. The run was HOT.
What would you do differently?:

Ease up a little at the beginning and kick harder at the end.
