Most comfortable open water swim to date. Didn't ever get freaked out. Was still a slow swim, but got out of the water feeling ok.

Train, especially open water.

Strippers for wetsuit. Took my time, but struggled with riding jersey. Had to set up GPS during transition.
What would you do differently?:

Have GPS set up ahead of time and get a jersey that can be worn under wetsuit.

Hydration was good. Refilled water bottle 3 times and drank a bottle of lyte liquid. Great ride overall. Nice and flat.

Not blow out coming back.

Just terrible. Never had anything coming off the bike. Was crazy hot and I drank too much water & Gatorade. Couldn't take in any calories other than Gatorade. Ended up going watertable to watertable on the final lap.
What would you do differently?:

Train!! Brick!! Not go crazy on the bike.

Lack of training; way too much effort on the 2nd half of the bike.

Event comments:

Glad this wasn't my first 70.3. The lap run would make it a deal breaker for future racing here, but still very glad I did it. Good day.
