Comments: One complaint - NO MILE MARKERS. Not being familiar with the course, I had no clue what kind of pace I was setting. Time was good, considering some pretty sketchy training in October. The hip loosened up within about a 1/4 mile, thank goodness. But still sore today. What would you do differently?: Not let up on training. And, the day before take my MTB and spray paint and mark miles!! Post race
Warm down: Water, water, stretch, banana, repeat. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training decline after Sept tri. Event comments: Good time, like the off-road format.
