Pre-race routine:

Wake up at 5:10; Eat egg whites, banana, coffee; get dressed, check my stuff and take off for SF. No more drink until race; 10 min before start drink 100 cal of gatorade performance

Comments:

Actually drank my gatorade a little bit early.... with the crowds, I didn't get to the start line until 8:18 so it was almost 20 minutes too early. Keep in mind for next time.

Tried to do walking every 10 minutes. Started with 15 sec walk and increased up to 1 minute toward mile 5. Did not walk last 2 miles.
What would you do differently?:

carefull with liquid intake before start. Needed to stop to use the restroom when in GG park.

Beat my estimated time. Followed the below strategy but did better than that.

Sign up earlier next year to get up front and avoid the weaving around!!
