Event comments:

The start to this race is 4 blocks from my house. Every year I swear I am not going to do it because it is not that great of an afterparty and it's always cold, but it's just too hard to resist rolling out of bed, jogging down the street and running around the neighborhood. An added extra is watching the traffic on Armitage go into full meltdown mode because they are stuck early on a Sunday morning. I don't know why that makes me happy but it does.
