About 5 hrs sleep. OJ and a doughnut Ma left at the house, Sunkist and bannana on the drive.

Set up transition, put wetsuit on inside out at first, a few minutes in the water.

Probably went out too fast and myabe hyperventalated myself. Breaststroked a chunk of the out portion.

Need to get better with bi-lateral breathing in the wetsuit.

Felt sluggish but like I was working at the right level. Watch and computer had it closer to 13.75 miles

After the race, I found both brakes rubbing on the wheels. Is that why I felt sluggish?

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The newest addition to our family, Earl Odin, was born less than 48 hours prior to the start, but Katie said I should go race.
Not much training in the last week, very little sleep in the previous 3 days. Looked at this as a long workout.

Event comments:

Packet Pick-up was a cluster, bike computer and garmin had the distances off. Fun race, still beat Todd even though he passed me on the bike.
