Comments: First three miles were very difficult. Did not care for the mileage markers. Miles 5-9 went well. Used two Cliff Shots prior to start and one more at 5.5 mile mark. Did not drink near enough. 10 oz. GU2O and 6 oz of water. Very difficult to run and drink. The last 2 miles were very difficult, legs were like concrete! What would you do differently?: I feel the training went well, however the hydration and nutrition should have been greater. I ran better then expected. Post race

Began training in late September. Carbo loaded with pasta and bread. sleep went OK, however I was awaking at 2:30am by telephone call. awakened at 5:45am for bus trip to start. It took 36 seconds to actually start running, very crowded for my first race (600).
Met with co-workers and shot hoops and stretched.
