Run
Comments: The 5K started a few minutes after the Half Marathon. I planned on starting near the back due to my blistering pace. :) But it seemed like almost everyone wanted to start at the back with me. What would you do differently?: Make my PF go away so that it doesn't hurt when I run. Post race
Warm down: Stood on line for a realllllly long time to get a cup of water and a banana. I don't think they were expecting this many people to show up for the 5K. And, of course, I didn't finish early enough to be near the front of the water line. :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Plantar Fasciitis. Event comments: I would have had more fun if the PF hadn't been whining. But I was happy with how I did. After the race, I ended up talking to someone who also had PF. She recommended a physical therapy group in the area. Then I watched the 5K award ceremony and cheered in some of the half-marathoners. Last updated: 2010-01-05 12:00 AM

Rolled out of bed. Took the dog out. Fed the dog and myself. Took a quick shower. Oh, and brushed my teeth, of course. Um, and got dressed too, just in case you were wondering. :)
Walked to bathrooms and back. :)
