Woke up and had my morning coffee routine. Nothing special as this was a "training day" for me. Not going to take this one too seriously...just gearing up for Clemson.

Kept my heart rate down and really enjoyed the ride. Wanted to take it easy after being idle for 6 days due to sickness. I hit the climb feeling nice and relaxed and went up with medium effort. Enjoyed the descent and hit a top speed of 46.

What an AWESOME course! I was about to croak at the top of the paved road before turning onto the trail. THEN, straight up again! Once the downhil started, I couldn't stop! Ended up biting the dust on the flatter part of the course and got bloodied a bit but had a great run!
