Comments: 4th out of the novice wave What would you do differently?: Relax and concentrate on being longer and streamlined. With the little bit of waves on the water and my adrenaline going, my strokes became choppy. Transition 1
Comments: Using a Giant TCR Advanced road bike What would you do differently?: Need to work on the order that I do things. I put on socks and shoes, then HR monitor and shirt, then helmet, glasses and gloves. There was a section of gravel that we had to run across, so I knew I wanted my shoes on. I can probably go without the socks and the shirt got stuck, so I might go without the shirt in warmer weather. Bike
What would you do differently?: Push a bit harder up the hills Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Mark my transition spot better, so I can find it quicker Run
Comments: took awhile going up the first mile for my calves to adjust from the bike What would you do differently?: increase cadence Post race
Warm down: walked and drank some water What limited your ability to perform faster: did not push too hard on the bike, so I would have enough left for the bike. Definiely can push harder on the bike. Need aero bars for the raod bike. Event comments: Start saving for a tri bike next year. Last updated: 2010-01-08 12:00 AM
