Run
Comments: Very cold but the sun was out and started warming things up very slowly. Although the course is pretty flat, On the return I did notice the ascents more and was slowed down a bit. I was paced by a runner who was female, shorter than me and did not look as athletic as me but was keeping a very steady pace that I wanted to keep.I really didn't think I could keep up with her the second half but I felt pushed to not let her get ahead of me. I was able to set a new PR. What would you do differently?: Train harder. I never ran more that 5.8 miles in training and was lucky not to run out of gas. Post race
Warm down: Walk around and eat whatever food I could find. Stretched and got a massage. What limited your ability to perform faster: training. Too much snow this winter. Event comments: This is a great race. Over 37,000 people signed up and over 30,000 finished the race. Last updated: 2010-01-08 12:00 AM

Walked around to keep warm until 45 min before race start. Jogged over to the porta-potties and took care of business then jogged back. did some stretching and looked for friends. Ran into a couple of kids from my son's taekwondo class and a guy from work who was in my wave. Saw Jack Crowley and Pam from RTC.
